But today, I want to step in front of the camera (figuratively, of course) to share a little bit about my journey in photography and what inspires me every day.

How It All Began

My love for photography started at a young age. I remember my first camera—a simple point-and-shoot that my parents gifted me. I would roam around my neighborhood, capturing everything from blooming flowers to the laughter of my friends. It was in those early moments that I realized how powerful images could be; they can tell stories, evoke emotions, and preserve memories.

As I grew older, my passion for photography deepened. I enrolled in classes, honed my skills, and eventually found my niche in capturing couples and their love stories. There’s something incredibly special about being able to document those fleeting moments of joy, intimacy, and connection.

What Inspires Me

Love Stories: Every couple has a unique story to tell, and I am honored to be a part of that narrative. Whether it’s a quiet moment shared between two people or the excitement of a wedding day, I strive to capture the essence of their love.

Nature’s Beauty: Living in Washington state, I am constantly inspired by the breathtaking landscapes around me. From lush forests to stunning coastlines, nature offers an ever-changing backdrop that enhances the stories I capture. I love incorporating the beauty of the outdoors into my sessions, creating a harmonious blend of love and nature.

Authenticity: I believe that the best photographs happen when people are being themselves. I strive to create a relaxed environment where my clients can let their guard down and truly connect with one another. Some of my favorite images come from candid moments—laughter, a gentle touch, or a knowing glance.

As I continue on this journey, I am excited to explore new techniques, experiment with different styles, and connect with even more incredible couples. I’m also looking forward to sharing tips, behind-the-scenes insights, and stories from my sessions right here on this blog.
